The Studio
Orchid Lim.
A decade in Singapore residential and commercial design, after a first life as an architect in Copenhagen. Maison Orchid was founded in 2014 to do one thing properly — quiet, considered rooms, principal-led from first sketch to final styling.
Her practice is built on restraint. A small studio, a tight roster of trades, a refusal to be everywhere. Every project is drawn, specified and supervised by the principal.

On the first meetingWe don't pitch. We listen. The first consultation is us understanding how you live — not showing you a portfolio and hoping something sticks.
On the middle monthsRenovation is disruptive. We won't pretend otherwise. But you'll have one point of contact, weekly site reports, and a principal designer who answers their own phone.
On handoverWe style the space before we hand it back. The day you walk in should feel like the day you imagined it, not a construction site that just got cleaned.
